Nowadays, Yogesh, who is popularly known as `Loose Maada’ among cine buffs and his well-wishers, is making Kannada film producers lose their sleep. Those who have not watched his films Dhuniya and Nanda Loves Nanditha should not mistake him or take his nickname `Loose Maada’ seriously. Yogesh has no psychological problems and he is hale and hearty If so, why do producers are losing their sleep? The problem with Yogesh is that he insists to take part in stunt sequences without a duplicate.
His insistence and commitment to cine buffs and his fans had even frightened a producer like Gandugali Manju, who is known for taking bold and daring decisions when the situation demands him. It was said that Yogesh insisted to jump himself from atop of a 400-feet height building in Hyderabad for a stunt sequence. He plays the lead role in the film Yogi in which Sirin and Biyanka Desai are the leading ladies. ``I am particular about myself participating in stunt sequences. I make it a point to the producer or director before accepting any new film that they should and must allow me to take part in the stunt sequences on my own. I am ready even to lose films but not participation in stunt sequences,’’ says Yogesh.
As expected, Yogesh got injured while taking part in a stunt sequence in Hyderabad.
His injury made producer Manju a little bit anxious because the latter was more concerned about Yogesh’s health. Because Manju has to spend more money on artistes and shooting equipment if the shooting got delayed for a few days due to injuries to Yogesh. However, Yogesh was ready for the shooting the very next day. ``I will never forget the help and guidance of unit members who helped me to recover from the injury quickly. They gave me a few valid tips on how to cope up with the pain due to injuries,’’ says Yogesh.
Whom does he settle down among the heroines - Sirin or Biyanka Desai - in the film Yogi? ``I will fall in love with Biyanka Desai but she insists me to change my life style. I will be working at a non-vegetarian restaurant. She does not like my life style and agrees to love me only if I change my life style. I had to approach Sirin for valid tips.
She helps me a lot and finally I succeed in joining hands with my sweetheart,’’ narrates Yogesh.
Yogesh’s other film Ambaari is yet to be released.
