'Manmadhan Ambu' on December 23

CHENNAI: Tamil movie 'Manmadhan Ambu', which stars Kamal Haasan in the lead role, will hit the screens on December 23. This is the fifth film combination of Kamal and director KS Ravikumar and the movie is produced by Udhayanithi Stalin.

"This is my fifth movie with Kamal. Earlier, we had joined hands for 'Avvai Shanmukhi', 'Tenaali', 'Panchathanthiram' and 'Dasavatharam'. The new movie 'Manmadhan Ambu' will be a fresh and novel experience for viewers," director KS Ravikumar said.

The movie is a perfect blend of comedy, action and emotions. Kamal dons the role of Major R Mannar, a retired commando.

Apart from Kamal Haasan, Madhavan and Ramesh Aravind also play prominent roles. Trisha is the heroine.

Sangeetha and Manju Pillai also play prominent roles in this movie. Kamal Haasan has penned the script and three songs for the movie. Actors Kunchan and Urvashi, too, play notable roles.
