The much-awaited audio of Rajapattai, for which Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music, was launched on December 9 at the Anna Centenary Library auditorium.

Speaking on the occasion, Yuvan said that it was a pleasure to work with Vikram. “I had known Vikram for a very long time and always wanted to work with him. This is the first time that I have composed for a Vikram film.”

Actor Vikram, after Dhil, Dhool and Samy, will be seen in a completely commercial role in Rajapattai. The actor appears in 18 get ups in this film, said the director.  Dancers performed on stage to the songs and a new trailer of the film was also screened.

According to the director, the song Laddu Laddu Rendu Ladu... would be a visual treat for the audience as Vikram would be seen dancing with Reemma Sen and Shriya Saran.

The other songs that were screened at the launch included Podi Payan Polave... (which featured Vikram and Deeksha Seth) and Villathi Villan...(which featured Vikram in nearly 10 villain like get ups).  Vikram is seen wooing Saloni in this song, which was shot in a grand set erected at the AVM Studios in Chennai.
