CHENNAI: IT was yet another audio launch at Hotel Green Park with celebrities walking the red carpet. But this audio launch was an exclusive as the film was a dedication to women. Dhanush, who plays a pivotal role in Seedan, directed by Subramania Siva, said at the audio launch of the movie that he was dedicating  this film to women in his life — his mother, sisters, wife Aishwarya and mother-in-law Latha Rajinikanth.

“I’m not playing a guest role in the film. I appear in the interval block and have 40-minute presence in the second half,” said Dhanush. The audio of Seedan was launched by Latha Rajinikanth and received by Aishwarya. Dhanush plays a cook in the movie. “The film would capture the hearts of women. Seedan is a polite and humble movie. Initially, my role had only a few scenes, but Siva added additional scenes and I had spent 21 days for the shooting,” says Dhanush, who praised the hero of the movie, Krishna. “He is a promising face and Ananya has done her part very well,” he added. A remake of Malaylam movie Nandanam, the Nadodigal star Ananya plays a prominent role in the movie. Vivek plays a conman. For music director Dhina, Seedan is his 50th film, and the music director lauded Siva for his knowledge of music.
