CHENNAI: South Indian actress Ranjitha, who was last seen in a tiny role in Mani Ratnam’s film ‘Raavanan’, is making her big screen return in Mollywood with ‘Puthumughangal’. The film was supposed to get released last year but Ranjitha’s alleged involvement in the scandals led to the delay, because shooting had come to a grinding halt after the controversy broke out.

In fact, her scenes in ‘Raavanan’ were almost deleted. Finally, it was drastically reduced. Ranjitha’s film in Malayalam is ‘Puthumughangal’ and is being directed by Dawn Alex.

This is her second appearance on the big screen after the sex scandal.
