Ever since Mynaa hit the screens, actor Thambi Ramaiah has become one of the busiest actors. Now the consummate actor, who can handle emotional, villainous and comic roles with equal flair, will be showcasing another side. Not only is he doing the lead role in an upcoming film Vu, but he has also turned singer.

Vu is directed by short film director Ashik and produced by Phoenix Pictures. The movie has newbies Varun and Neha along with Airtel Super Singer Junior 3 winner Adith, who is both actor and playback singer.

Thambi Ramaiah has sung a jolly kuthu number for the film, which has music by debutant Abhijit Ramasamy. The story revolves around a man who has been trying to achieve a certain goal for 10 years, without success. How he gathers a group of youngsters to attain success is the story of this comic caper.

But it looks like the producers are having a tough time dealing with issues regarding its title. Apparently, another film titled Woo has been announced recently, even though Phoenix registered Vu with the Producer’s Guild last year. The makers are optimistic of a smooth release, since their paper work is in order.
