For actor Prasanna, who got married to lady love Sneha a few months ago, life couldn’t be better. When he is not spending moments of marital bliss at home, he is busy shooting for two movies. While one is a multi-starrer, the other will see him return as a solo hero once again.

“The year 2013 has certainly begun well for me,” grins Prasanna. The actor had been very busy shooting for Chennaiyil Oru Naal (CON), a remake of the Malayalam superhit Traffic. The film has a multi-star cast including actors Prakash Raj, Cheran, Sarath Kumar, Radhika and others. Prasanna plays a doctor and is paired with Iniya in the film. “The story revolves around a real life incident, in which a boy was transported to hospital in 13 minutes and given a life-saving heart transplant. The film has a good social message,” discloses Prasanna. He is looking forward to the release of CON.

The other project that has him excited is Kalyana Samayal Sadham (KSS). The shoot is almost 80 per cent complete and Prasanna will be wrapping up his part soon. “We shot the film very fast and have been working almost everyday except Sundays and festival holidays,” discloses Prasanna.

The film is directed by newbie R S Prasanna, who was one of the winners of the Gateway to Hollywood reality show along with director Bejoy Nambiar of  Shaitan and David. “This script came to me through director Arun Vaidyanathan. The story revolves around a big, fat South Indian wedding where there is complete confusion and fun,” gushes Prasanna.

Lekha Washington plays heroine, while actor Delhi Ganesh plays Prasanna’s father. The film has music by Naveen Iyer, who has worked in AR Rahman’s albums previously. The camera work is by newbie Krishnan Vasanth. The movie is extra special to the actor for two reasons. “I had been doing multi-starrers for a while and KSS brings me back into the solo hero slot again. Moreover, this film is a complete laugh riot and will showcase my hidden flair for comedy,” he concludes.
