Arjun to chant Jai Hind again

Actor Arjun, who took a break from directing films for a while, is now all set to wear his director cap again. And taking a cue from the current trend of naming films after popular titles, the action king too has selected the title of his most popular film Jai Hind.

The new venture has been titled Jai Hind 2 and actor Surveen Chawla, who was paired with Arjun in Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal, is playing the female lead. The film is said to revolve around patriotism and social responsibility. A teaser of the film with Arjun showing off his muscular look has generated a lot of curiosity among audiences.

Arjun has directed and produced about 10 films in his long innings in the film industry  and his last directorial venture was Madrasi in 2006. The budget of Jai Hind 2 has been estimated at `20 crore and the film was launched in a grand manner in the presence of film personalities recently and the shooting has been planned in Mumbai, Delhi and London. It should be noted that Arjun’s daughter has also entered films and will make her debut in a film titled Pattathu Yaanai.
