Ace composer A R Rahman, whose latest albums in Tamil – Kadal and Maryan – were released without much fanfare, will launch the songs of another composer C Sathya at a grand event.

Sathya, who has hits like Engeyum Eppodhum and Ponmaalai Pozhudhu to his credit, has scored music for Nedunchalai, the audio of which will be launched by Rahman.

Nedunchalai director Krishna and Rahman have worked in Suriya-Jyothika starrer Sillunu Oru Kaadhal, in which Krishna made his directorial debut.

Director A R Murugadoss will also be attending the audio launch of Nedunchalai, which is to be held on July 1 in the city.

A bevy of stars is expected to grace the occasion.  Nedunchalai has actors Aari, Swetha Nair and Thambi Ramaiah in lead roles and is a period flick entirely shot on a highway.

Fine Focus Production House has produced the film.
