Music director Ghibran is all set to make his debut as producer with Chennai 2 Singapore. Directed by Abbas Akbar, the film features Sathya and Hebah Patel in the lead. Ghibran, who is also the film’s composer, tells us, “The album is special for me. It has a new cast and we’ve been promoting the film in a different way.”
He talks about the recent trip the team took. “We travelled from Chennai to Singapore and released a song every time we entered a new country. I initially signed up as a composer, but now, have decided to produce it too.” The team reportedly showed the film to Kamal Haasan, who liked it. Ghibran says the film will be something like Pandiarajan’s Katha Nayagan.
