Fresh from the success of Theeran Adhigaram Ondru, Karthi has been shooting for Pandiraj’s rural family-entertainer, in which he will be seen with a thick moustache. The actor returns to the rural genre after Komban. A source says, “The crew has been busy shooting in Thenkasi for the past 40 days. The first schedule will be wrapped up by the end of this month.”
The source adds, “Sayyeshaa, who’s back from shooting for Junga, is also a part of this. Scenes involving Karthi and her will be shot in this schedule.”This is the first time Karthi has joined hands with Pandiraj, with the project expected to be released next year. This untitled film is likely to have Meyaadha Maan fame Priya Bhavani Shankar in an important role.
However, there is no official confirmation yet.Sources also say Karthi will next team up with Bakkiyaraj Kannan who helmed last year’s Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Remo. He also has a project with debutant Rajat Ravi Shankar, which will have Rakul Preet Singh teaming up with him for the second time.
