CHENNAI: Actress Mandira Bedi has said that being part of upcoming Tamil film "Adangathey", which stars GV Prakash Kumar in the lead, has been an amazing journey.

On Sunday, Mandira tweeted that it's a wrap for the project.

She plays a police officer in the film, directed by Shanmugam Muthusamy.

"What an amazing journey 'Adangathey' has been! My last day was spent with the coolest two of the movie," she tweeted and shared a picture featuring Prakash and the director.

On signing the project, she had told IANS she believes in quality of work and likes to go an extra mile to make her character look more real.

She said she even learnt Tamil for the film.

"Without understanding the language, she wants to give her best to the character Parveen Khan, so she learnt basic words and common paraphrases being used in Tamil locals from tutor," Shanmugam told IANS.

Mandira's last appearance in a Tamil film was over a decade ago in "Manmadhan".
