After returning from the United States where he had gone for a makeup test for his 25th film, Seethakathi, Vijay Sethupathi is now set to fly out to Paris for the first schedule of Junga, which starts from the first week of October.

The comedy entertainer has Vijay Sethupathi playing the role of a don and he will be joining hands with director Gokul for the second time after Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara. Produced by the actor himself, the film will be shot extensively in Paris, and later in Ramanathapuram, Chennai and Tuticorin.

Sayyeshaa, of Vanamagan fame, is on board as the heroine and she’ll be playing a character born and raised in Paris. Reportedly, she was chosen as the makers were looking for an “unusual combination”.

Yogi Babu plays an important role in the film which has music by Siddharth Vipin.

Apart from Junga, Vijay Sethupathi has a whole host of films lined up, including 96, Oru Nalla Naal Pathu Solren, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and an untitled Mani Ratnam film. His next release Karuppan will be out this Friday.
