HYDERABAD: Short film Natyam by writer and director Revanth was out on Friday. The filmmaker held an exclusive media premiere on Thursday. Director Revanth and the lead lady of the film Kuchipudi artiste Sandhya Raju along with G Madhusudhan, General Manager, Kirtilal Jewellers addressed the media post the preview of the movie.
Natyam is a tale of a talented woman (Kalyani) dream that would have faded away if not for her grit to make it real. The movie is about her journey.
Sandhya Raju is convincing as the beautiful, passionate Kuchipudi artist Kalyani. The viewers will certainly not able to take their eyes off her debut performance as an actor. The director has presented the plot well and keeps the audience engrossed till the finale.
As Kalyani she portrays the internal conflict between external comforts and thirst to pursue her inner passion perfectly. She flawlessly sinks into the role and transforms herself into this mythical Kuchipudi beauty while her co-star adapted well to his role as a husband who is determined to make his wife’s dream come true.

Speaking to the media Sandhya Raju and Revanth said they wanted to thank Kirtilals who encouraged and funded the film. “This genre of Indian short films are starved of attention and viewership otherwise,” they add. The makers of the film are confident that the film will certainly meet the expectations of the audience.
