CHENNAI: Kerala Blasters, on Tuesday, announced the signing of former Manchester United defender Wes Brown. The Englishman will join Dutch coach Rene Muelensteen, who he worked with at Old Trafford. Brown, who has 27 senior England caps, has won five Premier League titles as well as two Champions Leagues.

The 37-year-old confirmed the news on Twitter and said that he was looking forward to his India stint.
Hume is Blasters’ latest foreign player recruit following on in the footsteps of Iain Hume, Nemanja Lakic-Pesic and Courage Pekuson. But his signing could be overshadowed in the coming weeks with Blasters reportedly locked in talks with another former Manchester United player Dimitar Berbatov.
