1. Vivegam is touted as an international spy film and will feature Ajith as 'AK', an Interpol agent,according to reports, who combats terrorists wielding biological weapons.

2. Ajith's Vivegam is set to release on a whopping 3000 screens worldwide with 800 screens in Tamil Nadu alone.

The film is also getting a grand release in Kerala as well, with 'Pulimurugan' producer Tomichan Mulakupadam releasing the movie in 300 screens. The film will enjoy over 1000 shows on the opening day. In Kochi, Vivegam will be shown in 56 theatres, only behind the record set by Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' (95).

3. Vivegam had earlier made news, when it pulled in Rs 120 crore in the pre-release business including Hindi version satellite rights (Rs 50 crore), Telugu version satellite rights (Rs 26 crore) and other distribution rights.

4. According to co-actor Karunakaran, Ajith didn't use dupes and 'always went the extra mile'. When he saw Ajith getting hurt during shoots he asked the Superstar the reason, only to get the reply -'Fans enjoy pannuvangale' (Fans would like it).

5. The music of the film has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Ajith's previous film, 'Vedalam' too had Anirudh's music and all of its songs, including 'Aaluma Doluma' were chartbusters.

6. The film marks the third collaboration between director Siva and Ajith after 'Veeram' and 'Vedalam'. 'Vedalam' (2015) had raked in Rs 125.7 crore worldwide.

7. The film marks the debut of Akshara Haasan and Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi in Tamil cinema. It was earlier rumored that Oberoi will be playing the antagonist but director Siva later denied it. The movie also has Kajal Aggarwal, Karunakaran playing key roles.

8. Hollywood stunt artist Serge Crozon Crazin, who has worked in films like 'Casino Royale' and '300: Rise of an Empire', plays a key role in the movie.

9. Vivegam was shot in foreign locales including Bulgaria and Serbia.

10. Ajith worked hard to get a toned physique for the film, despite multiple surgeries and also performed stunts. Upon release, his six-pack look from the first poster of 'Vivegam' had given his fans a reason to celebrate his head-turning physical transformation.
