HYDERABAD: The skin on the face is delicate and the tissues are so fragile that if not taken care properly, they end up getting dull or age quickly. Often putting oils on face brings a negative flash of bad breakouts in mind. Even the most beautiful Cleopatra applied seed oils to maintain her skin from anti-ageing. The traditional methods of beauty secret for a flawless skin with lesser use of artificial cosmetics have been well accepted by the market at large. In fact, according to the top dermatologists, facial oils could be a missing step to the daily beauty regime. Facial oils are an  way to revive antioxidants and vitamins quickly into the skin, at the same time adding a natural glow.

Plus getting a maximum exposure of sun and pollution compared to other body parts are also other factors which affects them. The skin needs natural oils to keep hydrated and protected. Good quality facial oil tricks the skin into thinking that it’s produced enough and therefore doesn’t need to produce more – which is one of the major reasons for the skin’s breakouts. Thus, it is ideal to use facial oils regularly as they help in rejuvenating and due to the application procedure, helps relaxing the facial muscles. Not only this, facial oils are one of the best natural alternatives to get rid of acne as they also have medicinal properties including disinfectants and soothing elements along with anti-ageing properties.

Essential oils are derived from botanicals, many of which are naturally packed with antioxidants, and create a protective barrier against harsh and uncaring external factors, like pollution, environmental toxins, even over cleansing seed oils are packed with antioxidants which prevent further ageing. Tea Tree oil has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory property and battles the blemishes away.
The best part of the facial oil secret is, they work on every skin type as they rebalance skin and restore a naturally healthy complexion. Whether it is oily (yes, even oily skin will benefit from a facial oil), combination or dry skin, by regularly applying a facial oil it will rebalance to reveal calm, clear and healthy looking complexion. If noticed carefully, the skin near the chin is always bumpy and rough due to the blemishes and appears dark. Due to the restoring properties and better application techniques, the skin turns smooth, supple and with even skin tone.
After attaining a certain age, that is; by the age of 25 years, the skin by itself starts withering off, sagging and stops producing facial oil thus, highlighting fine lines, pigmentation. These end up making the face look older and loss of natural glow. Oils for face are absorbed quickly, and soften the appearance of fine lines. Due to the daily massage, they also help lift the facial muscles and make it firmer. Being completely natural, they at the same time are more reliable as they have lesser chances with a negative reaction on the skin. In fact, facial oil also has the ability to reduce redness, irritation and even breakouts. Vitamin E is highly beneficial as it is powerful anti-oxidant that helps repair cell damage and facial oils usually have the ever nourishing Vitamin E, marula oil, Argan oil, rosehip, camellia, black cumin amongst some others.

Light weight, and incredibly aromatic, the oils penetrate surface layers of skin’s epidermis and maintain moisture for a brighter and more radiant appearance. They don’t leave an exterior layer giving an oily texture to the skin which generally heavy cremes and moisturizers do. Just like all those plant-based super-foods that are so good for health, facial oils actually nourish skin with intense moisture.

It is not necessary to give up on the daily cosmetics like the moisturisers, lotions or cremes. The oils could be included in the daily beauty regime. Both can be used simultaneously as facial oils are great for layering. It is best to apply oils right after freshly cleansed skin in the morning and at night right before applying the moisturizer. Otherwise only the oil would do well.  Facial Oils have a naturally gorgeous, instantly skin-comforting texture—they need no extra ingredients to make them sink in and it can act as a great supplement for the make-up touch ups.

Facial oil has as many as benefits and one can use it easily. From anti-ageing agent to skin medication, facial oil can be beneficial in all aspects. For using a facial oil, one does not need to be a one of those beauty elites who are mostly busy primping themselves in the parlor, fighting to restore or hold on to their youthful skin.
