HYDERABAD: A UK national allegedly harassed a city-based woman on board a Silk Airways MI745 flight which was destined for the city from Singapore.

The 60-year-old UK national, who was reportedly in an inebriated state, allegedly misbehaved with a city-based woman on the flight. He was later arrested by the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) police soon after the flight landed in Hyderabad. The UK national had arguments with the woman passenger who was on her way back to Hyderabad from Singapore.

In her complaint, the woman, a faculty of reputed business school, alleged that the UK national, who was sitting beside her, pulled her hand and later entered into an argument when she objected to his behaviour. Police detained the accused Barry Antony based on CCTV footage and details collected from the airlines staff. Antony confessed to having misbehaved with the woman, RGIA police claimed.
