HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) continues its drive against hotels and restaurants, imposed fines on them for unhygienic conditions and using unstamped meat. GHMC officials on Thursday raided various hotels and restaurants and imposed heavy fines.
Earlier, GHMC had urged all hoteliers and restaurateurs to use only stamped goat meat. Acting on tip off and complaints, officials swung into action and raided and closed some of the hotels and restaurants on Thursday.
Deputy municipal commissioners, along with officials of the sanitation and veterinary wing, inspected and imposed fines on Allapur Saba Restaurant, Moosapet; New Green Bawarchi, Panama Godowns, Vanasthalipuram; Balaji Mithai Bhandar, Mansoorabad; Green Bawarchi, LB Nagar; Green Bawarchi Restaurant, Lothukunta; Pebbals Bar & Restaurant, Pride of Hyderabad Hotel, Kukatpally Circle; Golden Restaurant & Bar, Swetha Bar & Restaurant, Durga Bar & Restaurant, Grand 360 Hotel, Sidney Restaurant, Ahar Restaurant and others.
