Goa Radio Indigo chief booked for sexual harassment

The victim has accused Goa station head of Radio Indigo of abusing, making sexually-coloured remarks, stalking and threatening her.

PANAJI: Goa station head of Radio Indigo, a popular FM channel, has been booked for sexual harassment of a female employee, who has in a complaint said that she was also abused with suggestive sexual remarks and threatened.

According to the First Information Report (FIR) filed at the Panaji Police Station, the victim has accused Rahul Bahadur of abusing, making sexually-coloured remarks, stalking and threatening her on November 10.

"We have filed an FIR under sections 354 (outraging modesty), 354(a) (sexual harassment), 354(d) (stalking) and 504 (intentional insult). Investigations are on," Superintendent of Police (North Goa) Chandan Choudhury said on Saturday.

While no official was available for a comment on the Radio Indigo premises in Goa, efforts to obtain a comment from the Radio Indigo headquarters in Bengaluru were also futile.
