Rescued Kerala priest Father Tom Uzhunnallil returns home from Vatican; meets PM Modi in Delhi

He reached Delhi at 7:30 am today and was received by Union minister of state for tourism Alphons Kannanthanam at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Freed Kerala priest Father Tom Uzhunnallil, who was abducted by the Islamic State in Yemen in March 2016, returned to India today from the Vatican today where he was staying at, following his release on September 12.

Father Tom met Prime Minister Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today at 11:30.
