Two CRPF troopers killed in Jammu and Kashmir accident during stone pelting

The accident occurred when the vehicle in which the three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers and a policeman passed through Hillar village of Kokernag area, a police officer said.

SRINAGAR: Two CRPF troopers were killed and two other security men injured on Wednesday when their vehicle overturned during stone-pelting in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district, police said.

The accident occurred when the vehicle in which the three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers and a policeman passed through Hillar village of Kokernag area, a police officer said.

"The vehicle overturned after the driver lost control over it when the vehicle came under stone pelting in Hillar village. The two CRPF troopers died on the spot while another trooper and a policeman were injured. The injured security men have been shifted to hospital for treatment," the officer said.
