MUZAFFARNAGAR: Police today claimed to have booked 30 people for rioting at Deval village here over domestic dispute.

Around 17 people were arrested in this connection, they said.

The incident was reported last evening when two groups clashed with each other over sending a married woman to her parents' house forcefully, SHO Kuldeep Sharma said.

The groups came to blows and pelted stones at each other, he said.

Six persons, including two women, were injured in the incident, the officer said.
