As Ramesh Aravind’s 100th film Pushpaka Vimana heads to Censors this week, the makers have released the look of a special character -- an aeroplane. The plane contributes to the storyline as much as the main cast. It is but obvious with the film bearing the title Pushpaka Vimana, says the debutant director S Ravindranath.
The model of the plane is from the nineties and it has been created using VFX.
“The close relationship between the father, played by Ramesh, and the daughter, by child artiste Yuvina Parthavi, is told through their shared love and excitement for this plane. They listen keenly to the sound of its flight and are happy when they watch it from a distance. But it is this plane that also causes all the twists and turns in their lives. In a nutshell, the flight is a joker and a gift too,” he says.
While the 220 big standees showing also the plane set to be displayed in all Karnataka theatres, a tableau with the plane is currently being made in Mysuru. It will be sent around the city soon.
Pushpaka Vimana, made under Vikyath Productions, is all set to come to theatres in the first week of 2017. Rachita Ram plays the lead with Juhi Chawla making a guest appearance. The film has music by Charan Raj and
cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda.
