THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former ISRO chairman G Madhavan Nair and former Travancore Devaswom Board president G Raman Nair joined BJP on Saturday.
They were received into the party fold by the BJP National president Amit Shah in a function at a private hotel here on Saturday.
Former state Women’s Commission member Pramila Devi, Malankara Sabha leader Thomas John and Janata Dal (S) district vice-president Karakulam Divakaran Nair were the other prominent persons who were inducted into the party.
Pandalam Royal family members Sasikumara Varma and Narayana Varma and former National Minorities Commission member John Joseph also met Amit Shah during the event.Former DGP Senkumar also met the BJP national president.
