KOCHI: A ‘National Election Quiz’ for students in Classes IX- XII  will be held by the Election Commission in line with the efforts to spread awareness on the poll process among members of the younger generation.  The students from government, aided, unaided, CBSE and ICSE schools can participate in the competition.

As per the competition format, a two-member team which qualifies in the first round will make it to the district- level competition. Those who emerge  winners in the district-level competition will vie for honours at the state-level competition. While the school -level competition is slated for November 8, the district- level competition will be held on November 16. In the district-level competition, the winners will be selected through a written test. The team which will emerge winners in the state will be again divided to zonal level.
