Summer is here, ushering in a long vacation for school children. And to embrace the spirit of the holidays, a unique waterfall experience has come to Kochi.

The Wonder Waterfalls Expo at Ernakulathappan Ground is welcoming visitors into a space that feels far removed from the busy city. Organised by DJ Amusements, the expo began on March 27 and is expected to continue for over a month.

Every evening from 4pm to 10.30pm, the ground is filled with families, groups of friends and curious spectators, immersed in the sound of water.

The artificial Niagara-style installation turns colourful in the night, with mesmerising lights. A cool respite amid summer heat.

The space opens into a mix of experiences. There are food stalls that stay busy through the evening, consumer stalls, and an amusement park where children line up for rides like giant wheels and dragon rides.

Another area is the beautiful butterfly garden, but with a twist. You can find robotic butterflies and bugs in this garden.

With an entry fee of `150 and separate tickets for rides, the expo is offering multiple attractions in one place.
