At the wheel: Micheal Perschke

Michael Perschke, head, Audi India, has been instrumental in shaping the success story of Audi in India for the last few years.

Under his guidance, the company has emerged as the country’s top luxury car maker. Perschke has an international education in business administration and economics in Germany and London. He joined the Volkswagen Group in late 2004 with the responsibility of steering National Sales Companies and developing wholesale strategy, resulting in the takeover of the importer in Ireland.

He began in Audi AG from 2008 where he was in charge of European Service Network Project with the target to improve service network quality and develop European network quality standards for 28 countries.

From 2002 till late 2004, Perschke was member of the European Turnaround team of Mitsubishi Motors and ran the European dealer network team as well as ran the M&A business which resulted in the setup of three national sales companies in Belgium, Switzerland and France, where he acted also as a managing director in the build-up phase.
