"The CBI arrested Jati Ram Meena, joint director in the office of director general of resettlement of ministry of defence, and S.K. Gupta, deputy director general in ministry of tribal affairs, in a bribery case of Rs.60,000," said the official.

They were arrested after a junior defence ministry official complained that the two accused were demanding a bribe for getting his annual confidential report upgraded. The complainant was earlier posted with the tribal affairs ministry.
