KOCHI: The girl who had captured the Malayali minds with her role as Ammu in Vinynan’s Vellinakshatram is no more.
Taruni Sachdev, 11, and mother Geetha Sachdev were killed in the plane crashed in Nepal on Monday. Both had gone to Nepal for a pilgrimage.Taruni had acted in more than 80 ad films, ranging from Colgate to Rasna.
The Sachdevs were natives of Mumbai. Taruni was selected by Vinayan after her performance with Amitabh Bachchan in an ad film. Vinayan also casted her in Sathyam.
