NEW DELHI: Vishal and Vikas Yadav consciously decided to "sacrifice" their sister Bharti Yadav's intimate friend Nitish Katara while "sparing" her life, perceiving her as their own, Delhi High court said today.
"A most distressing aspect of the murder of Nitish Katara is the fact that the convicts made a conscious choice to opt as to which one, out of the two partners in the objected relationship, they would eliminate.
"They consciously decided to sacrifice Nitish Katara while sparing the life of Bharti Yadav perceived as their own," a bench of justices Gita Mitttal and J R Midha said.
