JAIPUR: A Pakistani woman was detained in Ajmer for allegedly violating visa norms.

Zubeda Alia, aged around 50 years, had arrived in India nearly 10 days back on a month-long visa which was valid for Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh.

She along with her Indian relatives reached Ajmer Sharif dargah yesterday where she was held during checking. She did not have visa for Ajmer, a CID source said.

"We have informed the Union Home Ministry through the state government. She would be sent back to her country," the sources added.
