New Delhi, Dec 26 (PTI) Industry body Ficci today said ithas signed an agreement with the Center for the Study of Casteand Capitalism (CSCC) and its digital arm Inclusivity.in topromote the interest and growth of entrepreneurs belonging toscheduled castes and scheduled tribes.
"The synergy between CSCC, a Dalit Not for Profit bodyand Ficci will help in evolving an efficient SupplierDiversity Model and in linking CSCC-Inclusivity's SC-STentrepreneurs with potential industries to bring aboutprocurement from 100 SC/ST small and medium enterprises byproviding them hand-holding support in the first financialyear to begin with," Ficci said in a statement.
As a part of the collaboration envisaged under theMemorandum of Understanding (MoU), CSCC and Ficci will workjointly with all stakeholders such as industry experts,the government, among others, to develop strategies to enhancemarket access and procurement from SC/ST entrepreneurs. PTIRSNMKJ.
