New Delhi, Oct 25 (PTI) The Congress today appointedVineet Punia as the secretary of the party's media department,after the approval of vice president Rahul Gandhi.
According to a statement by Congress communicationsin-charge Randeep Surjewala, Anil Chaudhary was relieved ofhis responsibilities as the national media coordinator.
Punia replaces S V Ramani who was holding the post forquite some time now, he said.
The Congress had earlier revved up its media departmentby appointing six media coordinators and joint coordinators.
