State girl Jyothi Surekha defeated Lily Chanu of Manipur in the compound final 138-135 to claim gold in the 1st National Ranking Archery tournament at the Gachibowli Stadium here on Sunday.

Parveena of Punjab downed Bihar’s Anjali Kumari 137.9-137.8 in the bronze medal tie. Services archer Chittibomma Jignas won a silver in the men’s compound event. In the final, Jignas lost to Sandeep Kumar 145-142.

In the men’s recurve event, Rahul Banerjee emerges winner.
