Wadoo, Franco Join CFC

CHENNAI: Chennaiyin FC have signed defender Mehrajuddin Wadoo and midfielder Godwin Franco for the second edition of the Indian Super League.

They have also retained six domestic players — defenders Abhishek Das and Dhanachandra Singh, midfielder Harmanjot Khabra and forwards Jeje Lalpekhlua, Balwant Singh and Jayesh Rane.

Franco, who played for Kerala Blasters in the last edition of the Indian Super League, has been in outstanding form for Royal Wahingdoh, who are currently placed third in the I-League standings this season with two more matches to play. The 30-year-old has netted two  goals for the Shillong based team.

Mehrajuddin played for FC Pune City last year.
