NEW DELHI: India skipper Virat Kohli on Friday said that he is fully fit and absolutely ready to go before departing for the two-month long UK tour beginning from July 3.

Kohli asserted that long break after IPL and the decision to forgo his county stint has actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise and helped him rejuvenate for the two-month-long tour.

Addressing a press conference here in the capital before departing for the England tour tonight, Kohli said, "I am fully fit and absolutely ready to go and have passed the fitness test also and it doesn't matter how I perform or how one player stands out in the whole tour.

We, as a team, have to play well.

In the upcoming tour of England, our focus will be on how we can perform well as a team.

" When asked about batting and bowling department in English conditions Kohli said, "the swing factor is difficult for not only us but for the other team also, but if our team is playing well the game can change in our favour he said."
