Sachin Tendulkar was in the limelight before the start of play in the fourth ODI between India and Windies at the Brabourne Cricket Stadium in Mumbai. The batting legend reached the stadium, owned by Cricket Club of India, to ring the bell indicating the beginning of the match.

Brabourne Stadium is hosting its first international game in nine years, the last match played at the stadium was an India-Sri Lanka Test match in 2009. BCCI took to Twitter to post a video and wrote, "A kind of firsts here at CCI as the Master Blaster @sachin_rt rings the bell before the start of play today."

The fourth ODI of the series was initially alotted to Wankhede Stadium. The need for a shift in venue arose when the original host, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) cited its inability to issue tenders to the vendors for the ODI.

Sachin retired from international cricket in 2013 and played his farewell Test match against the West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium. The little master has played 200 Test matches and 463 ODIs, and is the only player to have scored 100 international centuries (49 in ODIs and 51 in Tests).
