Sergio Aguero out '2-4 weeks', say Manchester City

Aguero met with an accident after he had attended a concert by Colombian singer Maluma in Amsterdam on Thursday night.

LONDON: Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero will be out of action for between "two and four weeks" after suffering a broken rib in a car crash, his club said Friday.

It was originally thought that the Argentina international could be sidelined for up to two months following the accident which ocurred after he had attended a concert by Colombian singer Maluma in Amsterdam on Thursday night.

But a spokesman for Premier League leaders City said Friday that the 29-year-old's injury is not as serious as first feared and he will now be out for "two to four weeks".
