HYDERABAD: Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha, a confederation of Dharmacharyas from different Sampradayas, is organising its fourth national level Acharya Sammelan at Image Gardens in Madhapur here from January 9 to 11. About 100 Dharmacharyas from different Sampradayas are expected to participate in the three-day event.

Addressing mediapersons here today, Swami Paramatmananda Saraswati said that eminent spiritual leaders like Swami Dayananda Saraswati, Kanchi Sankaracharya and Mandaleeswar agreed to participate in the event. He said that the programme will voice various issues pertaining to Hindus. They will hold discussions on initiatives to be taken for prevention of conversion of Hindus to other religions and cow protection. The Acharya Sammelan also wants less interference of the Government in temple and religious affairs. Swami Chidrupananda Saraswati, core committee members R Govind Hari and NVSS Prabhakar also spoke.
