HYDERABAD: Gangula Bhanumati, wife of faction warlord Gangula Suryanarayana Reddy alias Maddelacheruvu Suri, who was shot dead by his lieutenant Bhanu Kiran last year, called on chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at his Camp Office here on Saturday.

She urged the chief minister to see that Bhanu Kiran got maximum punishment for killing her husband and pleaded him to provide adequate police protection to her as there is a threat to her life.

Bhanumati requested the chief minister to ensure that her husband Suri’s assets were  transferred in her name. Alleging that Bhanu Kiran had earned money and prime lands in the name of her late husband, Bhanumati said that Bhanu has the blessings and support of many influential persons.

 Bhanumathi  alleged that TDP leaders were behind the murder of her husband.

The chief minister  assured her that the culprits would not be spared and action would be taken as per the law.
