All Congress Telangana MPs will boycott the fourth World Telugu Conference (WTC) as the state government is trying to project the event as a pro-Samaikyandhra programme, Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar has said.

Speaking at a media conference here on Sunday, the MP urged TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu to take a stand in support of separate statehood at the all-party meeting, scheduled to be held in New Delhi on December 28.

During ‘Vastunna Meekosam’ padayatra in Telangana, the TDP chief has been maintaining that he would not oppose the formation of Telangana, the MP said and urged the latter to reiterate the same at the all-party meet.

The MP also wanted the YSR Congress leaders to take a stand in favour of Telangana at the meet and said the TDP and YSR Congress will face the ire of Telangana people if they fail to take stands in support of separate statehood.

The Congress will be held responsible if any decision against the separate statehood is taken at the all-party meet, he said.
