Babu Roars at Cong-YSRC 'Pact'

Telugu Desam Party president, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, has ridiculed Telangana Rastra Samiti  (TRS) president Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao for not coming forward for a debate with him.

He said that he had challenged KCR for an open debate on the development of Hyderabad but he never responded positively.

Naidu also tried to project himself as the Messiah of Telugu people during the Praja Garjana public meeting organised at Mini Stadium here Monday night.

 Addressing the huge gathering, he said the State Reorganisation Bill for Telangana formation tabled in the State Assembly would bring difficulties to Telangana peope and it was not acceptable to their Seemandhra counterparts.

Continuing his two-eye policy on the state division issue, Naidu further confused the public by saying that the consent of the Seemandhra people for the formation of Telangana state was mandatory. Likewise, the willingness of the the people of Telangana for division of the state was equally important. He alleged that AICC president, Sonia Gandhi, was trying to bifurcate the state to make her son Rahul Gandhi the next prime minister and further alleged that Sonia had provided bail to YSRCP president, YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

In an indirect reference to YSRCP president, he said Jagan had entered into a secret agreement with Congress in return for his release from jail.

Stating that the ongoing surveys by various TV channels as bogus and politically motivated, he alleged that YSRCP had offered packages to these channels to get survey results in its favour.

Chandrababu Naidu said that his fight against corruption was for the sake of weaker sections, farmers and the country.

He said the scenario in the state had been worsened by the Congress rule and it was time to defeat it. He said he had developed Hyderabad city and slammed the TRS chief KCR for demanding the separate Telangana state.

Naidu said that he was not greedy about getting posts and announced that welfare of the youth was more important to him as they were the builders of the country. He asked the youth to fight against corruption and hoped to come back to power in the forthcoming elections.

Naidu announced that he was ready to face any inquiry on corruption allegations.

TDP district president, Dacharla Janardhan, Markapuram MLA, Kandula Narayana Reddy, Telugu Rythu state president, Karanam Balaramakrishnamurthy, MLC, Siddha Raghava Rao and other leaders participated in the ‘Praja Garjana’ meeting.
