The counselling for admissions to post graduate and diploma courses in medicine has begun at the NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) Sunday.
Vice-chancellor IV Rao inaugurated the counselling programme by giving admission to the first ranker of PG medical entrance test, Dr C Raghavendra of Kurnool district.
Dr Raghavendra and second ranker Dr Taduri Lakshmi Apoorva selected Osmania Government Medical College for their post graduation studies.
Speaking on the occasion, vice-chancellor IV Rao said that NTRUHS made all arrangements for the smooth conduct of counselling programme.
Counselling for ranks 1-400 was conducted on the first day.
