Raghunandan accused of extortion

Express News Service

Accusing suspended TRS leader M Raghunandan Rao of extorting money from industries using the party name for amassing wealth, party’s Medak district president R Satyanarayana has said he will come up with evidence shortly.

Speaking to mediapersons Saturday, he said Raghunandan was suspended from the party following complaints from  industries. Unable to digest the disciplinary action taken against him, Raghunandan was making baseless allegations against party leader and MLA T Harish Rao, thereby trying to tarnish his image, he said. ‘’If Raghunandan’s allegations are true, then let him produce the evidence to support his claim.’’

Satyanarayana said the TRS had made Raghunandan district president of the party.

“Now, he is backstabbing the very party which gave him political life,’’ he said and accused Raghunandan of becoming a tool in the hands of Seemandhras.
