Bhajans, Vrathams Mark Satya Sai Birth Anniv in City

VISAKHAPATNAM: Festive atmosphere pervaded all around Sri Satya Sai Vidya Vihar School and Prema Sadan Mandir here Sunday as hundreds of students and devotees celebrated the 89th birth anniversary of Satya Sai Baba by rendering devotional bhajans.

Students and staff led by principal A Kausalya sang bhajans for universal peace and harmony. Later, ‘Satya Sai Divya Vratham’ was performed. This was followed by the release of ‘Hridayanjali’, a music album written and composed by MS Prakasa Rao and P Shanta Krishna comprising Sai bhajans.

All the wings of Sri Satya Sai Seva Organisations participated in service activities and distributed sweets and fruits to patients at the King George Hospital, Government Hospital for Mentally Challenged, TB Hospital, Central Prison and Papa Home. Youths distributed sweets and fruits to the children of School for Deaf and Dumb and Visually Challenged.

VSP CMD P Madhusudan participated in the celebrations at Ukkunagaram along with several other officials.
