Man, Son Die as Tipper Hits Bike

GUNTUR: A man and his son were killed while another person was grievously injured when a tipper truck hit their motorcycle at Ravipadu village near Narasaraopet town in Guntur district Tuesday.

Circle Inspector (Rural) Koteswara Rao said the tipper ran over the bike killing the father and son and injuring another person on another bike.

While the deceased were indentified as Gadela Srinivasa Rao and his father G Koteswara Rao, the injured was identified as Suresh Babu who was shifted to the area hospital at Narasaraopet.

Meanwhile, the locals chased the tipper driver, caught him and handed him to the police.

Rash driving is said to be reason behind the accident.
