CM to Launch Mee Bhoomi Mee Intike

VISAKHAPATNAM:Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will launch ‘Mee Bhoomi Mee Intike’ programme at Sankavaram village near Anakapalle Monday. The district administration is making elaborate arrangements for the event where the CM would address a public meeting.

Naidu will reach Visakhapatnam by a special flight at 9.30 am and leave for Batajangala Palem village by helicopter. He will travel by road to Sankavaram village where he would launch the new programme, which is aimed at updating and rectifying the digitised land records by holding gram sabhas in every village. The government is launching the programme after receiving complaints from farmers and other land owners against the digitised land records on the government’s ‘Mee Bhoomi’ portal.

Later, the CM will reach the Naval Coastal Battery in the city by helicopter and participate in the product launch of Xiaomi mobile phone at Novotel Hotel from 12 noon to 1 pm. This would be the first mobile phone produced in AP. Naidu will also participate in an interactive session with students from 2 pm to 3.30 pm before leaving for airport at 4 pm.

The district administration is making elaborate arrangements for the CM’s public meeting at Sankavaram village. About 60 buses will be deployed to ferry people for the event. District collector N Yuvaraj directed the authorities to prepare a report on the issues and grievances pertaining to Sankavaram and neighbouring villages.
