VIJAYAWADA: Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) will be introduced in 600 fair price shops in the district from March 1. To use this facility, necessary infrastructure would be made available to the shops, district collector Babu A said on Saturday.

If anything goes wrong with the machine, the dealers would be held responsible, he said. Around 200 fair price shop dealers, sub-collector S Nagalakshmi and  district supply officer A Krishna Rao attended the camp.
