Andhra, Telangana Governments to Continue Bhadratha for Police Staff

HYDERABAD: Stating that police personnel get benefited under the Bhadratha scheme, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana directors- general of police JV Ramudu and Anurag Sharma respectively have said that they will provide better facilities to police staff under the scheme. The DGPs, chairmen of the Bhadratha Committees in their respective states, presided over the 17th annual general meeting which was held here on Sunday.

Ramudu recalled that former DGP HJ Dora had initiated the Bhadratha and Arogya Bhadratha schemes which benefited lakhs of police staff. The schemes would be implemented in both the states for the benefit of police families, he assured.

Anurag Sharma said that at least 1.70 lakh police staff were enrolled as members for the scheme and many get personal loans, marriage loans, housing loans and education loans. Home Guards too can avail the benefits under the scheme.
